Tennis Post Winders

The chances are that one of these brass winder mechanisms will fit your post. Common causes of damage to winders are a lack of lubrication, so regular greasing is recommended (at least once a year), and the headline wire getting jammed between the cogs, so care should be taken when raising and lowering the net. This latter can be exacerbated by a thicker headline wire (5mm or over), which tend to be supplied with cheaper imported nets. Our British made nets have a 4mm wire, and spare wires are also available to replace existing thicker ones if required. This can be achieved by attaching the new wire to the old one and pulling it through the headband.
