Special Delivery Requirements for Concrete Table Tennis Tables

Due to the size, weight, and one piece construction of concrete Table Tennis Tables and prefabricated concrete bases, the site access and location for the tables needs to be considered carefully.

Concrete Table Tennis Tables and bases are delivered direct from the factory on a large lorry. Vehicular access of a minimum of 3m wide is required and sufficient room for the lorry to manoeuvre into position and turn round is required.

There should be no low branches or overhead cables along the access route to restrict the lorry accessing the site.

The lorry is fitted with a crane for offloading the concrete Table Tennis Tables. The maximum reach of the crane from the lorry is 5 metres. Again there should be no low branches or cables to restrict the use of the crane.

Preferably the lorry will lift the concrete Table Tennis Table into its final position. If it is not possible for the lorry to get close enough for this, it is equipped with lifting trolleys to enable the Table to be wheeled into its final position. These trolleys can only operate on smooth, flat, hard surfaces. The trolleys won't go down steep slops or steps, and can't be taken across soft surfaces such as rubber, artificial grass, or natural turf.

There will be the driver only with the delivery, if the trolleys are required to position the table the client will need to provide assistance to help the driver push the Table.

Concrete Table Tennis Tables to be positioned on grass must be placed on suitable pre-installed concrete pads to prevent sinking. The delivery lorry must be able to get within 5 metres of this location to enable the crane to lift the Table directly onto the concrete pads.

If it is not possible to get any concrete Table Tennis Table into the clients required  final position by the Lorry's crane or lifting trolleys safely due to the vehicular access, unsuitable trolley  access, lack of assistance, or ground conditions, the table will be left as close as possible to the desired location and it will be the clients own responsibility and at their cost to position the Table.

If it is not possible to access the site with the delivery vehicle on the pre-arranged delivery day for whatever reason, the full cost of the aborted delivery will be charged to the client, and a second delivery charge applied for the subsequent re-delivery.

When ordering a table(s) please read, sign and return a copy of this document with your order to confirm you have understood and agree to the requirements and terms contained within it.
