About 4.88 x 1.83m / 16 x 6ft Goals
This goal size: 4.88m x 1.83m (16ft x 6ft) - is more commonly used in Scotland, as it's the recommended size for 9v9, 7v7 and 5v5 football by the Scottish FA.
For England and Wales the FA recommends using 4.88m x 2.1m (16ft x 7ft) size goals for 9v9 football, and 3.66m x 1.83m (12ft x 6ft) for 7v7 and 5v5 football.
Uprights and crossbars made from 80mm x 2.5mm thick aluminium.
Fully welded corner joints for extra strength and safety.
Uprights and crossbars are zinc phosphated and powder coated white.
32mm x 1.5mm thick sprung loaded foot operated folding and locking steel side frame.
Complete with detachable 42.4mm diameter x 3.2mm zinc plated steel bottom backbar.
All posts require regular maintenance checks and chips or scratches must be treated to prevent any corrosion at these points.
Goals should be assembled as per the instructions supplied by the correct number of people recommended.
Freestanding goals must be anchored at all times and a risk assessment of suitability must be carried out.
With grass type anchors soil conditions play an important part as they may not hold in certain ground conditions.
All independently tested to BS EN 16579 when correctly installed and anchored.
