For over twenty years sportsequip have supplied new, tailor-made netting to suit pitch dividers and ball stops across the UK. The replacement of old, tatty nets can transform the look of a pitch, whilst also improving the effectiveness of the netting. Fitting new replacement netting to an existing pitch divider or ball stop system is often just a fraction of the cost of a completely new installation.

Unlike cheaper imported netting offered by competitors, all pitch divider and ball stop nets that sportsequip supply are manufactured in the UK and are fully selvedged on all four sides. Selvedging is the process of reinforcing the edges of nets with a run of thicker, stronger twine, reducing the likelihood of fraying and extending the life expectancy of the net. Selvedging also makes it easier to attach rings or clips to the netting without risk of causing damage.

Our nets are custom made to suit any make or size of existing pitch divider or ball stop system and can also be fitted with weighted bottoms to help prevent the netting from billowing, if required. Additionally, replacement nets are quick and easy to install by your own staff, minimising fitting costs.

If you already know the required mesh size please include this, otherwise you can just provide a list of sports played on the pitch (as the smallest ball size will determine the mesh size that is required). If you need any new split rings or dog clips, screening or weighted bottom edges we are happy to provide prices of these items too. Additionally net storage pouches and replacement cables can also be supplied if needed.

Tip: When thinking about fitting a new net please consider that whilst Dog Clip fixings are strongest, they can also be so strong that any tugging on the net can result in the net itself becoming damaged. By contrast Split Rings are deliberately flimsier and become the weakest component of the system, so that any force on the net will result in the ring splitting opening, leaving the net undamaged. Because of this Split Rings should be considered a consumable item that may well need to be replaced from time to time.
