sportsequip Spectator Barrier System

A full single pitch Spectator Barrier kit of parts comprising uprights, top rails, and clamp fittings to form a surround for a typical football pitch comprising two sides 105m long and two ends 75m wide.

Manufactured from 42.4mm diameter galvanised steel tubing for a very strong, long lasting and low maintenance surround.

Top rails are 2.1m long.

Uprights are 1.1m out of ground.

Tube clamps are provided with Allen key grub screw fixings.

Entrances can be formed anywhere within the surround by leaving a gap in the Top rails.

This kit is supplied for direct concreting in as standard without sockets, for DIY installation. Uprights go into the ground 0.3m. Suggested foundation size is 0.3m³ per upright but does depend on ground conditions.

As an alternative form of installation we can provide Ground Screw sockets (please see PD610, sold separately) which are a galvanised combined socket and screw which are screwed into the ground with an installation tool (please see PD611, sold separately). The Ground Screws are 650mm long and come complete with a nylon insert in the top section into which the uprights fit. Ground Screws provide a secure fixing without concrete and will allow the Spectator Barrier to be removed or re-positioned should the need arise.

Additionally, if required we can provide a kit comprising a bottom rail and additional clamp fittings to enable advertising or sponsors boards to be attached to the Spectator Barrier system (please see PD620, sold separately). These kits can be used for single boards or for multiple numbers of adjacent boards when used in conjunction with the Multiple Advertising Board Extension Kit (please see PD621, sold separately). The Advertising Boards themselves are not included.

It is recommended by the FA an allowance of a minimum of 1.83m clearance is maintained between the pitch and spectator barrier.
