Compliant Wet Pour On To New Base (Minimum 40mm)
STANDARD BASE DETAILS - OVERALL MINIMUM 40mm DEPTH
New Base Construction (assuming reasonable draining sub-soil)
- Excavate existing concrete / tarmac / grass base to minimum depth of selected thickness of COMPLIANT WET POUR plus 100mm.
- Standard edge detail is to supply and install well haunched 50mm x 150mm precast concrete edgings. Haunching must be below the base level of the COMPLIANT WET POUR surface. Alternatives available include pressure treated timber of a minimum size of 25mm x 150mm, firmly fixed with suitable pegs at 1 metre centres.
- Supply, lay and lightly compact to a minimum finished depth of 100mm, M.O.T. Type 1 foundation stone. Care must be taken to ensure that the correct depth remains, particularly at the edges for selected depth of COMPLIANT WET POUR, and that the stone is compacted right up to the kerbing. Levels should be to a tolerance under a metre straight edge of not greater than 10mm. There must be no loose stone laying on or over the general surface level.
- Reinstate where necessary, if and as agreed.
- Remove all spoil material from site, clean up, leaving site neat and tidy.
- Base is now ready to accept our COMPLIANT WET POUR Impact Absorbing Surfacing.
