Wembley Grass Marking Tufts (Sportsground Carrots)

Wembley Grass Marking Tufts (sportsground carrots) are an essential tool to help ensure that the dimensions of your pitch remain intact.

Often known as 'sportsground carrots', they clearly identify all ground markings on grass surfaces in a safe, permanent way.

Once inserted below ground level, the 'carrot' remains in-situ whilst all normal ground care, mowing, fertilising etc is carried out.

As these durable grass marking tufts remain in place, they eliminate the need to repeatedly mark out the boundaries of the pitch each season - saving time for grounds people.

Mow resistant fibres ensures that these marker tufts won't be damaged or displaced during routine grounds maintenance.

Fibres are made from UV stabilised synthetic polypropylene that won't fade over time and will retain their vibrant, easy to see colours.

Installation:

Simply put each tuft into position by pushing the spiral section a couple of centimetres into the ground. 

Then place the driving tool (included) over the marker fully encasing the fibres, and hammer the carrot into the ground until the 'Stop' mark has reached ground level.

Ensure that top of the screw is set 3cm (1 inch) under ground level.

Use sand or rubber granules to fill the gap between the fibres (sand/rubber granules not included).

For clay surfaces, make a pilot hole approximately 10cm deep using a small chisel prior to inserting each carrot.

Height: 7.5cm (3 inches)
Width: 4cm (1.5 inches)
