Sports Lite Quad Pods are the next generation of sports floodlighting. Offering a high performance lighting solution that's ideal for outdoor playing fields and sports courts, K65 Quad Pods deliver flicker-free LED floodlighting with minimal light pollution.
Ideal for football, rugby, tennis, athletics, netball, hockey, and most other outdoor sports, these mobile lighting towers provide up to 266,000 equivalent lumens - ideal for illuminating sports pitches and courts. The light heads can be adjusted to provide a 360° light pattern - making them suitable for almost any sports lighting requirement.
Quad Pods are perfect for sports training - allowing practice sessions to take place during long and dark winter evenings. In fact, with sufficient Quad Pods covering the play area - they're also powerful enough to allow competitive matches to take place.
How many Quad Pods do I need?
It very much depends on the intended usage and the area being illuminated.
As a guide, a full size 11v11 football pitch would need 6 or 8 Quad Pods to provide suitable levels of light for advanced training or competitive play. However for basic training using only one goal, just one or two lights may be sufficient.
In comparison, approximately 16 standard Sports Lite portable floodlights would be required to illuminate a full size 11v11 football pitch for a basic training game.
8 Quad Pods would generate a combined total of 2,128,000 equivalent lumens, versus a combined total of 352,000 equivalent lumens using 16 portable Sports Lites - a significant difference in lighting levels and enough to allow competitive games to take place.

Each LED light head features a Beam Controlled Lens - maximising efficiency by directing light towards the playing surface and not into the sky. Beam Control helps minimise light pollution for neighbours and wildlife - ideal for built-up areas or near protected wildlife areas.
Quad Pods can be powered by diesel or petrol generators, mains power, or a lithium battery powered generator - ideal for sites with no mains or those looking for silent, emission-free lighting.
Each tower can be set up by just one person in under five minutes with no additional tools required. Each tower is simple to position and deploy thanks to their compact, extendable design (up to 21ft / 6.4m).
Independently adjustable legs provide maximum stability in use, on any sports surface. Once correctly set up with stabilisers deployed, Quad Pods are safe to operate in wind speeds up to 30 mph (48 km/h).
